accidental sysadmin

I didn't apply for this job. And yet, here we are.

So, yeah.

I'm the entire IT department for a company that definitely needs more than one IT person. Nobody hired me for this. I just kept fixing things until it became my problem permanently. You know how that goes.

This site is where I write about the stuff that Microsoft's documentation conveniently leaves out, the PowerShell scripts I wrote at 1am that somehow became load-bearing infrastructure, and all the fun little surprises that come with running a hybrid environment by yourself. Like when Azure AD decides to just... not sync. For no reason. On a Monday.

Most IT blogs are written by people on teams of twenty with actual change management processes. That's cute. I'm over here approving my own tickets and deploying to prod because there's nobody to tell me not to. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

No posts yet. I've been busy. You know, running an entire company's IT by myself.

Still nothing. I'll get to it. Probably after this next fire is out.
